Carolyn is 3

Carolyn is Three!!!!

For Carolyn's third birthday she decided to do a craft party because she likes to do a "Carolyn craft" every day that we are home.  I have to admit that I was a little nervous about painting but it turned out great and the kids all had a fun time. C and I had lots of fun online shopping for the supplies during one of the many snow storms.

Some of the big kid cousin and friends!

Carolyn had wanted to make cupcakes for weeks before her birthday and then the day of she decided she wanted a cake (because she really wanted a princess cake she saw at Marsh).  Instead of multi-colored cupcakes we decided to do a cake instead at the last minute at her insistence.

After the party, Carolyn wanted to do more painting so we did a few paintings just the two of us.

Carolyn's actual birthday! She wore a special birthday shirt with skirt to school.  She also took banana chocolate chip muffins to share with her friends at school.  She had a surprise waiting for her after school- Auntie Erica and she requested to go out to dinner and get a cheeseburger.  Poor Calvin was a trooper during our impromptu dinner and evening outing.  He was only a few weeks into day care and had a pretty eventful day.

C after her clown cones (a daddy family tradition)

Carolyn continues to be as lively and energetic as ever.  We love her vivacious personality and seemingly never ending energy.  She loves to help me cook, help with her brother, play, and all things princess.  She has a very diverse imagination and we love watching her personality grow and develop.
