It has been a long time since I have blogged so I apologize for the hiatus in blogging. It was a hectic few months with the death of my grandma, the end of school, Jesse's busy season at work, etc... But here is the long overdue post of what Carolyn's been up to!
School: Carolyn LOVES school. She moved to the toddler room after spring break and after a few rough mornings at drop-off she realized how cool the toddler room is and she LOVES all of the singing, dancing, crafts, and playing outside that occurs in the toddler room. She also has two amazing teachers and we are very excited that she will be back with them next year when she returns.
Food: Carolyn loves fruits and veggies (one of her favorites is broccoli!) but she also really LOVES to throw her food. We are still trying to figure out how to get her to stop but so far we haven't been successful. She also really likes Mac and Cheese, CHEESE, yogurt, black beans, tortilla chips and quesadillas (mommy and daddy like Mexican too), cereal, scrambled eggs, and MILK.
Sleep: A few weeks ago Carolyn decided that she wanted to stay up later but she is still going to bed between 8 and 9 and sleeping 11-12 hours and then taking one nap a day in the afternoon. We are very thankful that she is such a good sleeper.
New Tricks: learning to use utensils, stomping her feet, dancing, climbing on everything, playing in the pool, going down slides, blowing kisses, making animal sounds, and like most toddlers- screaming!
Likes/Loves: Reading books, Elmo, Praise Baby videos, babies, feeding the ducks, playing on her outdoor climber and slide, going for walks, dancing and sampling food at the Farmer's Market, being "ousside", playing with rocks, trying to eat rocks without anyone noticing, playing with dirt, toddler tunes aka toddler music, and the zoo
Summer Adventures: going to the beach, taking a music class once a week, and play dates with friends!

We laughed over the "lesson" that we taught C when she threw a temper tantrum because she didn't want to stop playing on this at the store and then it appeared a few hours later at home!)
Little 500 at Day Care- Carolyn got last place in the toddler round but she did finish and as you an see she did get a medal!
We went walked into Broad Ripple for dinner with some friends and couldn't resist taking a picture of C in front of the United Package Liquors!

A garage sale find ($1 for the lawn mower) the baby doll the lady gave to C just because she thought she was so cute!
