State Fair

We went to the Indiana State Fair on Friday afternoon and Carolyn was introduced to all sorts of new experiences.  Jesse and I devoured our share of "very healthy" food and spent time introducing Carolyn to some of the farm animals (she even pet a horse!).   As a side note, it was a very somber experience to walk past the site of the stage collapse where six people lost their lives last Saturday.  Their families and friends are in our prayers.

Here are some pictures of the Noneman evening at the fair.

Bad picture of me but it is important to see the before and after shots!

Carolyn's first experience at Hook's.  She was really into our Root Beer Float while simultaneously playing with her foot (her new favorite interest).

 Horses

This Belgian horse was literally the biggest horse I had ever seen.  His shoulder height was at least 7'.

The final food tally:
2 lemon shake-ups
M&M Candy Apple
Root Beer Float
Fried Green Tomatoes
Pork Tenderloin Sandwich
Fried Klondike Bar (that was all Jesse)
