Here is the latest Carolyn update. Sorry that it is so tardy this month!
Weight and Height: 17 pounds and 25 inches (in-home measurements, more accurate ones coming the beginning of August)
Eating: I am feeding 5 times a day and eating rice cereal twice a day. Overall, I seem to like the whole eating thing and love to grab at the spoon as it's headed towards my mouth. Mom and dad are really impressed that sometimes I even direct it right in my own mouth.
Sleeping: Sleeping 12 hours at night and taking two (1-2 hour) naps during the day.
Moving: Still rolling over and getting really good at moving around on my back some. I also do this running motion in my Baby Einstein that my parents think is hilarious. I have found my feet recently and love to swing them around too.
Talking: Still a talker and adding more sounds to my repertoire of noisemaking. I have also figured out the squeal/scream but mommy and daddy are trying to not encourage me to do that too often.
Sitting: Getting pretty darn good at it, all of those ab muscle workouts are paying off.
Toys: I am finding new things to do with my toys every day. Mom is waiting for me to get bored with my play-yard but for right now I still think it's pretty cool.
Swimming: I have now gone to the pool 3 times and been in a lake once and I think it's pretty cool. I am not really a fan of the life vest but I do enjoy splashing around!
Hair: My hair is out of control. As you can see from some of these pictures, my hair likes to stick straight up!

It is so much fun now that I have discovered I can splash around in the tub just like when I am swimming!
