Baptism Weekend

Carolyn was baptized yesterday June 26th, 2011.  We were so blessed that so many friends and family came to Ft. Wayne to help her celebrate becoming a member of God's family.  She was baptized at Trinity English (my dad's family has a long history with the church) which is where, her God-parents and I were baptized and it is also where J & I were married in 2008.  We hope to continue that tradition with future children!

Getting baptized by Pastor Kathy Hallet who has been a pastor there since I was little.

Rain, Rain, Go Away and don't come back another day....

If you live in the Indy area then you know that we have had a lot rain the past few days...  here are some pictures including the huge puddle that we discovered in our basement.  I am now ready to go and bleach the floor for the third time. Nothing brings out the clean/germ obsession in me like sewer water in the basement!

~~~Father's Day~~~
Carolyn and daddy after church on Father's Day.
Our big outing was on Saturday when we went to the zoo and to Jesse's new favorite restaurant "Red Habanero" on 96th street.  Then on Sunday we went to church, hung out around the house, took a walk, and had a awesome dinner of New York Strip, asparagus, potatos and dill, and ceasar salad with red wine and ice cream drumsticks for dessert! Yum!
Crazy June!
Carolyn has had quite a busy month so far.  Here are some pictures to chronicle the last few weeks!
We started off the month with a trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa Noneman and the rest of the family in Arizona! Carolyn did awesome on the plane.  We scheduled the flight out for her bedtime and had her travel in her pjs.  We fed her a bottle on take-off and then put her right into her Baby Bjorn and she slept for most of the four hour plane ride.  She had a great time meeting all of her Arizona family and took her first professional pictures since her newborn pictures in the hospital! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Noneman for a great visit!
Meeting Uncle Nicky! Uncle Nicky came home from Scotland on June 7th and Carolyn and I went with my parents to go and welcome him home.  We had told Nick that we couldn't come because it was Carolyn's naptime but it was all a ploy... Carolyn was there with home-made signs and all and Uncle Nicky was very happy to finally meet his niece... even if he did need a haircut!
Carolyn decided that she wanted to ask Uncle Nicky and Auntie Erica in a special way to be her godparents. They both said yes! More pictures of that after next weekend! :)
Started the rice cereal and she is slowly getting the hang of the whole eating thing.
First trip to the zoo! As you can see she slept through most of it but the animals were extremely active today!
